My name is Kathy James and I am co-founder of Tri City Psychology Services and creator of ShrinkRap.
I am located in Vancouver, British Columbia. I graduated from St. Martins School of Art as a graphic designer and have progressed from being an illustrator of some 25 years, to building a private psychology practice and obsessing daily about what’s happening in the world of psychology.
There are some amazing psychology blogs- Mind Hacks, Cognitive Daily, Psyblog are just a few of my favorites. I certainly do not profess to possess such wonderful intellect! My small contribution is just to gather and feature the snippets of interest out there on “th’internet”, and in my small way create an awareness of how psychology impacts us all.

Learnt bit of welsh when doing my nurse training in Bangor.. basically my imit is ‘have you finished.. do you need the loo.. and are you in pain’ kids learned welsh tho.. x
It is a bit mad here trying to organise xmas.. whose idea was it to have it EVERY year?! LOL
Anyway, when it is all over.. I will really take a proper look at your site cos I think there is some interesting stuff here.. even tho I have been trying to hide from psych stuff for a while:)

Saesneg! Or should I say scouser! Well here’s a co-in-ki-dink I lived in Rock Ferry for 2 years and was a lecturer in Liverpool Art College ( Poly) … before emigrating to Canada 20 years ago!

I used to have lectures in the Art College.. the Poly became Lpool John Moores University.. I did a Degree in Media and Journalism there.. before I did nursing.. I know not much of a connection… just my post-modern career structure!
So Im guessing you drank in the Phil, or The Everyman or even Ye Crack or at a push the Pilgrim? ( funny Im not a big drinkier but I obviously have a strong point of reference to ale houses! LOL)
The ‘Art Scene’ is a huge almost sub culture in Lpool.. not been part of it for a long time! But from what I remember it was quite incestuous LOL! My ex- / daughters father was the Gallery Director of The Open Eye.. so we seemed to be involved in lots of Arty and political things in the 80’s.. but I guess art and politics are always intertwined? I think that’s when I spent the most time in the pubs too..
