A new universal test to predict the risk of someone succumbing to major depression has been developed by UCL (University College London) researchers. Group therapy ‘beats depression’

Group-taught meditation is as effective as staying on drug treatments for stopping people slipping back into depression, say UK scientists.

The study, funded by the Medical Research Council, found MBCT, developed in 2002 by a team of psychologists from Canada, Oxford, and Cambridge, was actually more effective than medication in improving patients’ quality of life.   Click to continue reading………..
